Chris Lutes

Shareholder, BeachFleischman PC

I am a CPA and shareholder at BeachFleischman, a major accounting firm with offices in Phoenix and Tucson, where I am focused on audits and consulting.  The last couple of years have been very exciting in my lead role with the BeachFleischman expansion into the Phoenix metropolitan area, including recruiting new professionals to join our team.  Before that I was a partner with McGladrey, LLP for 18 years after graduating form ASU.  I feel very fortunate that I continue to be able to work with great, diverse clients every single day and no two days are the same.  Unlike some, I knew that I wanted to be in this field since high school and I have not been disappointed as my career has evolved.  When I was 12 years old, I actually helped my dad set up his books for his independent print shop.  A little known fact is that I ran the presses myself when I was the same age, but I’m not sure I could do it today!

Danielle and I have been married for 20 great years and we have two beautiful daughters, ages nine and sixteen.  We all love to travel and I’ve been to all 50 states, with the girls having been to over 30.  Seeing the country has been a wonderful experience for us.   In addition to having been a soccer coach for 11 years, I have a great passion for all sports including the Phoenix Suns.  I’ve been a Suns season ticket holder for 35 years and this years’ team has been very exciting to see.  I like to view all kinds of sports and when Danielle wonders why I’m watching some unique sport on TV one of the girls will say, “Dad will always find some sporting event to watch.”  I guess I’m a sports fanatic.

AzBL has been a great experience for me in the two years I’ve been a member.  The members are top notch and it’s been very interesting to learn about their businesses and what made them successful.  When people ask me about joining I tell them that you will hear excellent speakers you won’t find anywhere else and that the membership is the highest quality of any professional group in the Valley.
