Robyn Julien

CEO / Arizona Burn Foundation

I am a third generation native of Arizona.  I graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Accounting, am a C.P.A. and worked for several years in public accounting.   Following my passions, I spent several years on volunteer activities with a focus on high level fundraising and serving on the Notre Dame Preparatory High School Board of Directors.

My fundraising career led me to positions with the American Heart Association and the Scottsdale Cultural Council.  In the fall of 2015, I joined the Arizona Burn Foundation as the CEO of the organization.  It is a pleasure and a blessing to work with such dedicated staff and volunteers to improve the lives of burn survivors and their families while promoting burn prevention education.

Our organization helps families navigate the crisis of a serious burn by providing necessary services such as lodging, transportation and medical assistance along with support groups, retreats and camps to help aid their recovery.

Camp Courage is our signature program.  This one week camp occurs each summer in the cool pines of Prescott, AZ.  Each year we welcome 90+ kids and 100+ volunteers for a week of fun and therapy.  Kids share their stories and learn from each other.

Education programs are important to us.  Our free community smoke alarm installation program works with fire departments throughout AZ and the Red Cross to identify communities in need.  We canvas the neighborhoods with a group of volunteers to provide free smoke alarms.

In addition, we also go into schools and educate young children about the dangers of fire and scalds.

I enjoy cooking, traveling and hiking with my husband, Ken.  We are parents to two grown sons, and are enjoying being empty nesters.
